Korea has received a lot of popularity among Indian students from past few years. Many students are willing to go korea for there higher studies. Korea is very well known for treating there foreigner students in well manner. Many foreigner students including indian have already gone korea for there studies. But there's a problem with students who want to go korea for medical. On internet, there are very few articles talking about medicine in korea, which resulted in low number of foreigner medical students in korea and also less information among youngsters.

 

Today I will tell you about universities in which foreigners can study there Medicine course (mbbs course) including indian. Before going into the topic we have to decide which type of university is best for foreigners. As we all know korea has top rated universities which are very well known for there studies, so which university we should choose or apply for? As a medical student, we have to choose are university very wisely while considering many aspects. 

1. Korea is a korean speaking country.

    Korea is a Non- English speaking country. Mostly the universities in korea teach in korean language (for medicine course). For getting admission in korean language Medicine course you must know korean. If you don't, then you have to learn korean first and then take admission. This can be time consuming or can be hectic. Also if an individual knows korean or learn korean in a year, it can be still difficult for him/her to study the whole Medicine course in korean ( as Medicine course is not easy at all, its hard within itself). Learning korean like a native and also memorizing all medical terms in korean can be hell hard for a foreigner. So what should a foreigner do? 

Choose a University which have Medicine course in English language.

Foreigners should always go for a university which teach in English (for medicine course). Mostly korean university teach in korean but there are few universities which teach in English (medicine course). One of them is "SEOUL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY".

Seoul National University has undergraduate Medicine course in English also. Doing mbbs from Seoul National University can be a wise choice for a foreigner.

2.See if your country allows Korean University's degree.

There are many countries which have certain restrictions on doing Medicine abroad. Before going for Medicine in korea or in any abroad country, always search that, does my country allows korean degree? Or , are korean degree valid in my Nation? These are very important questions that you should search for before going to any abroad country talking specifically about korea. If your country don't approve korean Universities or korean degree, your studies and hardwork of doing 5-y year Medicine course can be wasted, as you won't be allowed to work in your own country. Earlier Medical council of India i.e MCI has not approved any korean University and korean medical degree was not valid. But now National medical commission of India is making new rules.....which can result into approval of korean University.
