Studying mbbs abroad has become preference to many students. Medical course abroad can give students a great exposure to the world. Students can learn different skills and techniques from various countries and help there motherland to grow and develop. Knowledge from different countries can come to a single country which helps in upbringing and development of the Nation.
Medicine in korea can be a wise choice for many youngsters. But for getting admission, we need to know the whole process of getting selected to one of those great universities.

1. Complete your highschool.

Students should complete there highschool studies with great GPA (percentage or grades). Korean universities ask for great GPA from students as competition is already very high among korean students. You need to be good with your academics, not only in last year of your highschool but also in every year. Your grades matter a lot to get admission in korean University as there are students applying from all over the world.

2. Clear entrance exam of there own country.

Students should clear the entrance exam of there own country first. Many countries have entrance exam after highschool to get admission in any medical university. Like India have NEET exam. You should clear these exams so that you can get admission in any medical university of your own country. But wait.... Why it's needed for those who want to pursue Medicine in Korean university. Let me answer..... You should clear these entrance exam so that, in future after completing your studies from korea, you can come back to your home country for work. Many countries have this rule that, "if you haven't pass your country's entrance exam before going abroad for Medicine course.... Then after completing your studies you can't come back and work in your own nation....your degree will not be valid in your own country". This rule is in practice in India. This point can be an exemption for many students.

3. Korean entrance exam (CSAT)

For getting admission in korean University, you need to give Korean SAT called CSAT or 수능 or suneung exam. Without giving CSAT, students can't get admission in Korean Medical University. You must have seen in many k-dramas, students talking about CSAT exam. Its extremely hard to crack exam not only for foreigners but for koreans too. CSAT exam is in korean language, doesn't matter a korean or a foreigner in giving exam. It's taken offline, which means you have to go korea for giving CSAT EXAM. You have to get very high score in CSAT to get selected by korean university, as Korean universities never compromise it terms of grades. You have to beat Koreans and also international students to get selected in a korean university. You should get almost a perfect score. But Don't fear... Nothing is impossible!!

4. Apply for a University.

After you are done with cracking exams and getting a good score, apply for Universities.  You can apply online or while staying in korea. Once you apply, they will go through your documents and will inform you if you're selected or not. And once you get selected.... Your life will start taking a beautiful step towards success!!!

REMEMBER:

Nothing is impossible!!

    1. Unless you have gone through your schooling in Korea, you DO NOT have to write the CSAT.
As for the scholarships, you may check for the ones that may be available in your country for students who want to study abroad or you can check for scholarships offered by the Korean government for international students.
Private scholarships are also an option.
